In case you didn’t know:
Shameless is an independent magazine for smart, strong, sassy teenage girls. Our staff and contributors are all volunteers who want to offer girls a progressive alternative on the newsstand. Fundraisers like this help us pay our printing bills. In 2004, we were named Best New Magazine by NOW and nominated for two Utne Independent Press Awards (Best New Title and Best Design). We’ve also been featured in the Toronto Star, Toronto Sun, Globe and Mail, La Presse, Adbusters, Masthead, Venus, Herizons, on CBC-Radio’s Metro Morning, and TVO’s VOX. Shameless is available in indie bookstores across Canada and in many Chapters/Indigo stores. Find out more at: www.shamelessmag.com
