Young Lakota at ImagineNATIVE! Reproductive Justice rally, film screening, and after-party
Young Lakota is a coming of age film about reproductive justice and Indigenous youth on the Pine Ridge reservation, during the battle ground for abortion rights and access in South Dakota.
Join us Saturday October 20th in Toronto:
-1pm Reproductive Justice: Equal Access Now! Pan-Canadian Day of Action at Old City Hall - 60 Queen St. West. Sunny Clifford (main character of Young Lakota) and Jessica Danforth (Native Youth Sexual Health Network) will be speaking at the rally and to the media
-4:30pm Film screening at ImagineNATIVE International Indigenous Media Arts Festival at TIFF Bell Lightbox 350 King St. West. Tickets are available at: http://imaginenative.org/festival2012/
-7pm directly after the film screening in the GREEN ROOM for after-party, food, and discussion with Sunny Clifford and filmmakers
