May 30th, 2013     by Julia Horel     Comments

Are you a young person under 25? Have you used the mental health or addiction system?

We want to hear from you!

The Empowerment Council conducts systemic advocacy on behalf of service users. There have been a lot of changes in the mental health system and we want to know how this is affecting youth.

What have been your best and worst experiences at CAMH? What changes do you want to see? What do you want to know about your rights? How do you want your family involved (or not) in your mental health care? What “alternatives” to the mental health and addiction system have you discovered? What are you looking for? Eg. peer support, friends, meditation, activism, Mad Prdie? Send us your stuff! We’re creating a zine!
