Condom Stuffing Parties In TO
The AIDS Committee of Toronto (ACT) holds condom stuffing parties every first and third Wednesday of the month to make packages of condoms, lube, and info on ACT and safer sex.
ACT then delivers the condom packs to venues in the Church and Wellesley area as part of its community outreach program. In 2007, volunteers helped ACT create over 120,000 condom packs.
The parties are on a drop-in basis - the next is on January 16 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at 399 Church Street in Toronto.
From the ACT website: “ACT condom-stuffing parties are an opportunity to meet new people, have dinner on us, get to know the agency, outreach staff and help out in an important way. No previous volunteer experience necessary. You don’t have to register. Just show up! Bring a friend!”
