Follow-up event: In conversation with Jessica Yee

February 28th, 2011     by Julia Horel     Comments

Due to such incredibly popular demand that many folks (this blogger included!) were turned away at the door of the book launch for Feminism FOR REAL: Deconstructing the Academic Industrial Complex, there will be a second event held at the Toronto Women’s Bookstore (73 Harbord Street, Toronto) on Monday, March 7 at 7pm.

Missed the book launch? Want to go more in depth with Feminism FOR REAL? Join host Annemarie Shrouder on Monday March 7th from 7pm to 8:30pm for Facing Out - a conversation with Jessica Yee about her new book Feminism FOR REAL: Deconstructing the Academic Industrial Complex. Join us at the Toronto Women’s Bookstore as we go more in depth about the book and take your questions - either in person or via live stream. Facing Out is a project in collaboration with the Toronto Women’s Bookstore. Facing Out’s vision is to inspire connection, discussion, and community around arts and politics - here and around the world. The Toronto Women’s Bookstore is located at 73 Harbord St. The main area is wheelchair accessible - we regret that the washroom space is not wheelchair accessible.
