Maker Monday! Animal Masks!

On Mondays we’re bringing you awesome craft ideas from The Studio, a drop-in program for youth aged 13-21 run by Delisle Youth Services. (http://delisleyouth.org)

The Studio is a youth directed drop-in centre for queer and trans youth and allies ages 13-21. Come chill with us at Mon-Thurs 3-8pm at The Studio under the Northern District Toronto Library at 40 Orchard View Blvd in Toronto!

Materials: - Colourful felt (you can get this at most dollar stores!)

  • Scissors (many pairs)

  • Glue guns and glue sticks

  • Mask Templates
  • Ribbon

Instructions:

  1. Choose your Animal or Monster!

  2. Print off templates for various animal masks from online: http://www.illistyle.com/crafts/felt-animal-mask-printable-templates/ http://www.illistyle.com/crafts/felt-animal-mask-printable-templates/

  3. Cut out your design their masks and cut out pieces

  4. Assemble pieces using hot glue

  5. Hot glue or sew ribbons for tying the mask on
