Shameless Superheroes: a movement, dance and storytelling workshop for youth, with shaunga tagore

there is a superhero living in all of us! we all have resilient and badass ways of dealing with the difficult, scary and/or oppressive stuff we go through every day. whether it’s coming up with a sassy retort on the fly to street harassment, rockin your favourite outfit even if it goes against gender norms, being a great listener to a friend in need, and so much more.

this workshop will help us all tap into our own unique inner superhero. we’ll use dance, movement, written and voice techniques to tell our shameless stories. we’ll also learn a fun and simple dance routine to perform at the following shameless mag launch party!

the workshop runs from 2-3:30, and if you’re interested in attending please register here - https://shamelessworkshop.eventbrite.ca/
