The Kickaction.ca Blog Carnival Recap

March 12th, 2008     by Stacey May Fowles     Comments

As I mentioned, three Shameless bloggers were invited to be part of the Blogging Carnival over at kickaction.ca. All of the posts that went up from February 11 to March 7 are definitely worth a read. Among them, Thea Lim writes about Asqa Parvez, Anna Leventhal pens a piece called “Feeling Feminist, Feeling Fine?” and I give my take on the link between sexual education and sexual health.

Also of note is the fabulous Liz Brockest (of Fat Femme Mafia fame,) blogging her “Fat Take on Health:”

The word “healthy” will forever exist for me in quotation marks until someone actually explains to me what it is. As far as I am concerned, it’s a myth, a marketing tool, and a social trap.

You can check out all of the great posts here, proving once again that feminism is alive and well! Thanks to kickaction.ca for asking us to be a part of the great project!
