Live Positive

December 30th, 2005     by Nicole Cohen     Comments

Check out this site, created by and for HIV-positive youth: www.livepositive.ca.

Along with basic information on the virus, the site explores how HIV can affect your life, how to choose a doctor, what sorts of treatments are available and how to deal with some of the specific challenges faced by HIV-positive youth.

According to the Canadian Women’s Health Network, HIV-positive youth wanted resources to help them make informed treatment decisions, and they wanted a format that was interactive, informative and fun.

Created with the help of a national advisory committee, the site also features a message board, an art gallery and poetry, all focused on living positively.
