Maker Monday! DIY Lipstick

Every Monday we’re bringing you awesome craft ideas from The Studio, a drop-in program for youth aged 13-21 run by Delisle Youth Services. (http://delisleyouth.org)
The Studio is a youth directed drop-in centre for queer and trans youth and allies ages 13-21. Come chill with us at Mon-Thurs 3-8pm at The Studio under the Northern District Toronto Library at 40 Orchard View Blvd in Toronto!
Last Monday, Iesha led a workshop in making your own lipstick using only Crayola crayons and coconut oil!
We found a really great DIY on the Rookie Mag Website that will guide you through the process!

Notes: - It’s a lot of set up but a very quick process so we’d recommend making multiple colours to make it more worthwhile! Gifts! - Use Crayola brand name crayons! It makes a huge difference - We didn’t use vegetable or olive oil, just coconut oil - Use less oil if you want it more opaque and more oil if you want a gloss look
Happy Making!
