This past Monday Cody showed us how to make beautiful flower crowns in hopes of bringing on some spring weather! There are many different techniques for making flower crowns, but we chose one that used chenille straws, also known as pipe cleaners.

Materials: -Glue gun and glue sticks -Fake flowers -Pipe cleaners -Scissors

  1. Take about 9 pipe cleaners, and braid them together, in groups of three, you might need two of these depending on how you want your flower crown to sit on your head and how long the pipe cleaners are.
  2. Cut the flowers off from their stems
  3. Glue the flowers onto the pipe cleaners in your own arrangement
  4. Yay! Flower crown!
