Sexually Active Gay men No Longer Allowed to Donate Organs
According to this CBC News piece sexually active gay men will no longer be accepted as organ donors, regardless of whether or not they test positive for infectuous diseases. Torontoist sums it up: A spokesperson for Health Canada refused to explain the changes, so Torontoist will do it for them: “We think gay people are kind of icky, and the medical issues involved with ickiness are of great concern to us.”
